In The Room is building the third space for London's creative technologists. Invite-only, no phones, and a vetted crowd of founders, builders, designers, and couple of select investors.
The housewarming
Our first ever event is a housewarming this month. We would love to have your work there. Event details:
- Thursday 22nd October
- Central Shoreditch house set across three floors
- There will be around 80-100 attendees each night, chosen for what they're building and how much they care about it rather than job title
- Companies In The Room (so far) : OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Jack&Jill, Google, Microsoft AI, Meta, Granola, OpenAI, Sierra, & >40 pre-seed to series A startups
- People In The Room: lots of engineers and operators, plus founders, a few designers and a couple of investors. A mix of hardware, software, AI and culture startups, from big labs to early-stage teams
- No-phone event: pouches at the door, so everyone's present and the focus is on what's in the room and on each other
- What's on: DJs, live art, and emerging tech on each floor.

Ways to get involved
Experiential event where attendees discover the installations and demos as they explore the building on the night. So there are a range of locations and types of demos you could do.
This isn't a demo to a seated room. Instead there are screens and desk spaces dotted around the house, and people come across your work as they explore. Stand by it to chat and demo live, or leave it running if it explains itself.
